Oscars Picks!

I'm notoriously bad at this, mainly because I usually go with my emotional picks, not what will win. This year? I'm turning that all around, baby! Watch my fire!

Best Actor: Mickey Rourke. (Personally, I thought Frank Langella's was the best performance of the year, but they don't let me vote yet...YET)

Best Supporting Actor: Heath Ledger (lock)

Best Actress: Kate Winslet (it's finally her year!)

Best Supporting Actress: I think this is the wildcard category this year so I'm going with Marisa Tomei

Best Foreign Language Film: What I'm hearing in this town is Waltzing With Bashir

Best Adapted Screenplay: Simon Beaufoy for Slumdog

Best Original Screenplay: Dustin Lance Black (go Bruins!) for Milk

Best Director: Danny Boyle for Slumdog but Guz Van Sant was actually the best director of the year

Best Picture: Slumdog Millionaire (Again, I thought Milk was a better picture...)

Oh, and a special shout out to my friend Elliott Graham who was nominated for Best Editting for Milk. We're all rooting for you!
