So I'm mini-vacationing at my mom's house in the SF Bay Area (i.e. hiding out from the heat of Southern California). Lovely weather up here. Chill. Relaxing.
Maybe too relaxing? I haven't written a godamn word since I arrived.
No matter. We all need a break, right? I'm still looking to be done with this rough draft sometime next weekend which is both exciting and terrifying. Exciting because, well, I friggin hate writing rough drafts. Terrifying because I know I have a lot of work left to do before this damn manuscript is at all readable by anyone other than me. Though if I had to choose between first drafting and editting, I'll take editting any bloody ass day.
Just sayin'.
For now, I'm off to hike around the San Andreas Lake via Sawyer Camp Trail. Posting a photo for your vicarious pleasure.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure. First draft or editing. I think for me it varies on a ms by ms basis. This time around I'm thinking editing will be much better :)
