POODINI: Seriously? The box? PLEASE???
GRETCHEN: (scanning down) I don't even know where to start first!
GRETCHEN: Oh wait. That's a total lie. I'm starting with Diane Peterfreund's ASCENDANT, hands down!
GRETCHEN: Wow. It's my own private image of heaven.
POODINI: Psst! Lady! About the box...

I want to read Ascendant too, but its the second in a series (right?) and I need to read the first one--I just found out it existed :) Oh and Ascendant isn't even out yet, is it? you lucky duck!!
