The Big Time

I've got a prize for anyone who can figure out the link between the song I'm listening to and the rest of this post...

In the realm of all things random, this one might take the cake. You remember my post from a few weeks ago about the Cirque Berzerk gig I did at Clive Barker's house for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles? Well, maybe you remember my outfit...



Anyway, a couple of days ago I started getting emails from people:

"Gretch, I saw you in Los Angeles Magazine."

I'm sorry, WHAT?"

"Yeah, some photo from a Cirque Berzerk thing?"

Oh dear God, no.

Because of course, I remember a photographer, a photographer who kept insisting I make kissy, smoochy faces for the camera. He wouldn't have. He couldn't have!

He did.




However, I have to say as much as I sort of loathe the photo, I'm in a collage between Donna Summer and Robert Downey, Jr. I mean, when the hell is that ever going to happen to me again? (HINT: the answer is "NEVER.")

So here it is, scanned for posterity. And the world gets weirder.

    wow! dude that's unreal! (link between song and post = song is from sherlock holmes and robert downey jr was in the movie as well as on YOUR page in the magazine) how many copies of the magazine did you end up buying? :)

    Never mind stupid kissyface photog. As you say, between Donna Summer and RDJ. Plus, as I've mentioned, you're totally rocking the pouty/slutty chambermaid/cigarette girl look.
