Feeling dull and unsparkly without my coffee this morning (Would someone please explain to me why we don't have milkmen anymore?). Bottom line, I don't want to drink my coffee without milk and I came home to a fridge without milk. I can't leave the house until after these bozos from the Gas Company show up to fix my oven pilot, and my head feels like it's going to explode.
Yay! Great friggin' want to start the day.
Did anyone watch the
Castle premiere Monday night on ABC?

I think I like it. (Oh Nathan Fillion. I still prefer you in tight space cowboy pants but I'll take this. *purr*). Though if any of you published authors out there have a life half as glamorous as what was portrayed in that pilot, please send me photos. I'd like to pretend that's a possibility.
Though I'll take a Pasadena on signing chick's chests. *shudder*
I know my poll is still open (vote, pretty please? I'll love you forever and ever...) but I have a new agent interview lined up for next week with the fabulous
Tina Wexler of ICM. Once again, I'm opening the floor for questions from the Internet. Feel free to comment or email me.
Honestly? That's all I got today. I'll try to be more entertaining tomorrow for Shout Out Thursday.
LOVED me some Castle! Totally made we want to write afterward. Yeah, I'm thinking that's a pretty cool life to know all the famous people and be allowed to work with the police just because you've done research. My hubby was like "Is that what it will be like when you are published?" Hmmmmm...yep! Cough cough.
ReplyDeleteBut I loved it anyway. Nathan Fillion is so funny and I have to have my funny in TV shows. Just gotta.
Oh, and when I lived in Colorado, we actually subscribed to a Colorado dairy that delivered your milk to your door at like 4am or something. It was so cool, tasted really good but not all that different, it was just cool.
I was tempted because I luuuurve me some Capt. Tightpants, but the previews just looked...meh. Besides, every show I love gets canceled, so better I don't get involved again.
ReplyDeleteI watched Castle and liked it. I wish we had a milkman, too. It would be nice to have all my groceries delivered. *Sigh*
ReplyDeleteI have a question for Ms. WExler!
ReplyDelete*ahem*
I always panic a little when an agent says they're looking for "Young adult fiction," because that could encompass so many different sub-genres that it hurts my poor little brain. What exactly is Tina Wexler looking for in the YA department?
Great question, kristin! I'll try to work it in.
ReplyDeleteI watched it, I enjoyed it...and I would totally sign Blondie's boobs if I were famous. But maybe that's just me and Nathan McYummy.
ReplyDeleteAnd there still are milkmen. I know of 2 at least...they're just not as common.
