There's lots going on post-circus Gretchen World!
Whoa, did anyone else just picture my own bizarro version of Dollywood right then? Damn, that would be awesome.
Anyway...
First up, this is a YARebels vlogging week! Here's a look at my topic:
WHAT IS GRETCHEN AFRAID OF MOST?Tomorrow, I'll be guest vlogging over at Parking Lot Confessional, where I'll be talking about my journey to publication and the most important lesson I've learned along the way. (No, it has nothing to do with shoes...) Woo hoo!
a) spiders
b) the Titanic
c) getting burned alive at the stake
d) first drafts
HINT: my dog hunts bugs, it's not 1912 and I'm not a witch...as far
as I know...
Then on Wednesday, I'll be debuting some awesome artwork I commissioned specifically for POSSESS. It's so freaking cool - and should feature prominently in the swag I'm planning for later this year - so you definitely want to check that out.
Also-Also, today kicks off my FINAL 10 POUNDS campaign. As many of you know, I've lost a lot of weight. As of this morning, 32 pounds, to be exact. And while I'm perfectly happy at this weight, I'm still aiming for my original goal, which is another 10 lbs. They say the last ten is the hardest, so I'm going to chronicle my progress here on the blog. Cheer me on, people! If I reach my goal, it'll be the smallest I've been since... oh crap, 2004? Scary.
Lastly, you'll notice I've made no mention of February 14th, also known as The Day Which Makes Single People Feel Shitty About Themselves.
Oh well. I'm so blessed in so many ways. I suppose a girl can't have everything, can she? ;)
Good luck with the diet. And try not to fret about flying solo these days. Valentine's Day is a lot of hype primarily for the benefit of card and candy companies. Count your blessings. I've got the feeling there are many more to come.
