pandora/ipod: "skeleton" by the good naturedSo in case you missed my plethora of announcements, I'm going to be at BEA next month. Which is awesome. I'll be signing copies of TEN, as well as a group signing at Books of Wonder (including the amazing Holly Black) and several other teen reader events throughout Manhattan. Here's the full run down. You might want to take note:
Tuesday, June 5, 1:00-1:30pm: Autographing Session for TEN (Javits Convention Center, New York, NY)
Tuesday, June 5, 3:00-5:00pm: Meet the Apocalypsies at BEA (Javits Convention Center Room 1E04, New York, NY)
Tuesday, June 5, 6:30-9:30pm: Teen Author Carnival (Jefferson Market Library, 425 Avenue of the Americas @10th St., New York, NY)
Wednesday, June 6, 6:00-8:00pm: Rebel Writers for Teens author panel/signing with Holly Black, Leah Clifford, Zoraida Cordova, Karsten Knight, Hannah Moskowitz, Victoria Schwab and Scott Tracey, Books of Wonder, NYC
Okay, so keeping all this in mind, I was trying to figure out a fun and interactive giveaway for BEA. And the lovely Cory Jackson helped me come up with something PERFECT.
Here's the skinny. At BEA, and the Teen Author Carnival, at my Books of Wonder Signing, even on the naked streets of New York, I'll be carrying signed TEN bookmarks with me. Come up and ask me for one. I swear I won't bite.
Much.
Each bookmark will be numbered - 1 to 200. That's it. After 200 I'm out.
On Friday, June 8th, I'll choose one number at random. The person with the winning numbered bookmark (yes, you'll have to send me a photo...) wins a signed ARC of TEN.
But that's not all.
Every 10th person who asks for a bookmark wins something awesome too. Only if you want it. Basically, I'll record a custom ringtone or voicemail message for you directly into your phone. I'll be creepy, quote from TEN or maybe even sing opera for you if you ask really, really nicely.
So that's it. Numbered bookmarks (don't be shy!) one per customer. A signed ARC of TEN and custom voicemail recordings for every 10th person.
Just two weeks away. See you then!
I'll be hunting you down at the Teen Author Carnival! I want my bookmark ;) Unfortunately, I'll only be at BEA on Wednesday. I'm very disappointed that I won't get to snag a copy of TEN... Who knows, maybe you'll have an extra copy at the TAC with my name on it? :) Looking forward to meeting you, Gretchen!

That sounds epic fun! I'm glad the info for the Books of Wonder signing is finally up on their site. I've been squirming around waiting for it to pop up so I can add it to my schedule.
