Shout Out Thursday: The Blog Edition

1. Shout Out to The Enchanted Inkpot, the online community/group blog of YA fantasy writers, who not only were kind enough to let little old unpublished-yet me join their wonderful four-square game, but are actually letting me post next week! On Wednesday, June 10th I'll be posting my interview with the wonderfully talented R.J. Anderson whose debut Faery Rebels: Spell Hunter is on sale now!!!! I'll link to the interview once it's up. Unless I embarrass myself and then we will never speak of this again.

2. Shout Out to my friend and colleague Bryn Greenwood who will be announcing something very exciting in the next few days... *big cheesy grin* Bryn's novel - something she lovingly termed "rural fantasy" was the first novel I ever critiqued for its author (or, um, any author) and I was immediately drawn into the strong, unrelenting voice of the narrator. I knew then it had to go somewhere, somewhere big. And I'm so excited to have been a (very, very, very) small part of it!

3. I haven't pimped them in awhile so Shout Out to the folks over at the Querytracker blog. Though I'm no longer querying, I still appreciate the tireless work they do on behalf of agent-seeking writers. I seriously would not have made it through the query process without them. From posts on the process to interviews and "giveaways" with agents, its like a carnival for writers. Thanks guys!

4. Shout Out to the anonymously mysterious Moonrat who's Editorial Ass blog has helped me keep my sanity during the submission process. I adore the voice, the approach to an industry that might as well be Valhalla for me. It makes it human. It makes it attainable. Priceless.
