BEA 2013 Here I Come!

Anyway...

It's here! It's here! BEA 2013 is here!  I'm literally on a plane for NYC tomorrow, for three whirlwind days of Book Expo America fun!  My official BEA signing for ARCs of 3:59 with be:

I'm not sure how many of you were in line to get TEN at BEA 2012, but it was a wee bit insane.  We had like 200+ people in line and only like 90 ARCs or something.  I'm not saying it'll be that way again this year, but maybe get in line early just in case?

This will be my third in at BEA, so I know the drill:

• bring your own Starbucks (the line in the Javits is ridic)
• wear comfortable shoes (a challenge for this L.A. girl)
• leave by four o'clock or you'll never get a cab
• 11th Ave is farther away from Penn Station than you think

A couple of fun new things for BEA 2013.  First off, my fiancee will be joining me.  This will be his first time in Book Heaven, and his "To Do" list for books he wants is extensive.  I hope he brings a really big bag.

Next, this will be my second convention running the 3:59 T-shirt giveaway!!!

Basically, there will be a handful of people at BEA next week who have will be wearing black and white 3:59 T-shirts like the one seen here.  If you see one of these lovely folks, take a photo!

I'll be giving away 3:59 preorders (hardcover or digital, your choice) to my favorite photos of 3:59 T-shirts in the wild at BEA 2013.  All you have to do is tweet it using the hashtag #359!

No Twitter?  No problem!  Post it online (blog, Facebook, Tumblr, etc.) and post the link in the comments below.

No set number of winners, just at my whim and fancy.  I'm capricious like that!
