It took me six weeks, a few late nights and a couple of days "sick" from work, but I managed to do it. I hit my revisions deadline for BANISH and as of last Friday we are officially in copyedits!
My Kick-Ass Editor Kristin Daly was just amazing throughout this process, not only by giving me killer notes that resonated with me as soon as I read them, but by buidling in some "give" time, just in case I didn't think I'd make it.
My Rockstar Agent Ginger Clark was just that - my rock. No fear on Ginger's watch and she made sure that I never felt overwhelmed, scared or panicked.
It was a team effort and as such, I have promised my girls matching TEAM BANISH T-shirts. In sequins. They thought I was kidding. I was not. Will be designing and ordering this week.
To top it all off, I got a fantastic "gift" in the mail yesterday. Not just my executed contract but....
Contract and check in the same mailbox? Awesome overload!
